About TDS

TDS Transport began in 2005 with a single truck pulling RV’s and Travel Trailers. With drive and determination, today TDS Transport is part of the First Responders with FEMA & Department of Homeland Security. TDS Transport has had over one-hundred fifty trucks on the job during hurricane “Ike” and currently assisting FEMA/DHS with disaster relief following hurricane “Sandy.” Along with assisting prior to and after a disaster TDS Transport specializes in over-sized loads along with flat bed and general freight.

Tom Schmidt, president of TDS Transport Inc., saw a tremendous need for a quality transportation business based on performance and on time deliveries. Today TDS Transport has a fleet of thirty-five OTR Trucks and a network of other transport companies to assist with multiple jobs regardless of the size. TDS Transport is not complacent, immediate plans are to build a new office building that will include a CDL training facility. We are continuing to grow every day increasing the number of TDS trucks and owner operators to our fleet. Our mission at TDS Transport is to continue to expand and grow the company to fill the demands in today’s transportation needs.

TDS Transport is proud of its record for "Top Performance" that sets the standard for the trucking industry and is an on-going goal for each and every job, no matter how large or small. We are motivated and driven to serve our customers with the best performance possible in the transportation business. Whether it's the manager, dispatcher, driver or customer representative, the performance of each individual is essential to the overall performance and success of the company. TDS Transport strives day after day and mile after mile to ensure the highest level of employee performance and customer satisfaction.
